What a Good Friday

Ever wondered why the Friday before Easter is called good Friday? Honestly, I had never given it so much thought, until today. I thought there was pretty much a good reason for that and as usual I asked my good friend google its opinion .The FOCUS of Good Friday was on the benefits, grace and the merits of the cross rather than the crucifixion of Jesus.
